If you're having one of those days when you feel totally adventurous and just really want to take a risk when it comes to your style, then denim on denim is certainly the best choice you can make. Just pick a shirt or jacket that is at least one shade lighter than your jeans and a fitted spaghetti strap or tank top in a neutral color to tuck in. The only accessory you need is a cool attitude and you're good to go.

It's kind of funny because as risky as denim on denim is, it's one of those outfits I like to throw on in hurry and it never fails to work. I do exactly what you've done: dark denim bottoms and light denim tops :)
